What is Fibroblast?

Fibroblast is a type of cell found in connective tissue that plays a crucial role in the production of collagen, elastin, and other proteins that are essential for maintaining the structure and integrity of the skin. These cells are responsible for synthesizing and organizing the extracellular matrix, which provides support and strength to various tissues in the body, including the skin.

In the context of aesthetic treatments, Fibroblast treatment refers to a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that utilizes the body’s natural healing process to stimulate collagen production and promote skin tightening and rejuvenation. During the treatment, a device delivers controlled micro-injuries to the skin, triggering the fibroblast cells to produce new collagen and elastin fibers. This process leads to a firmer, smoother, and more youthful appearance of the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging.
